This is truly the only feature that sets these apart from most of the generic famotidine on the market. They are very tiny, too, so should not be a problem for anyone with pill swallowing issues or reflux. I’d also like to think the smaller size means that they have less filler compound compared to other brands. With that being said, I also do not take these for stomach acid or reflux issues, so I cannot speak on their effectiveness in that regard. Famotidine is an H2 antihistamine, and a critical part of my MCAS protocol. Using the available coupon and Subscription discount, pricing was comparable to Costco/Sam’s Club. I would still re-order these simply for the unique shape.

**Q: I have always been a Tagamet user,,Is this a better way to go for Gerd and acid reducer?**
A: I was using ranitidine, but have since stopped and started using famotidine. So far I have been fine with the switch. I'm not sure if it's better for GERD. I would talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.
