## Description

CRC food grade machine oil is an effective and efficient general purpose, non-silicone lubricant for use on all food processing equipment. The highly refined white mineral oil is colorless, odorless and tasteless to meet NSF, USDA and FDA standards. Food grade machine oil can also be used as a penetrating oil to loosen rust, scale and corrosion around fasteners and hose fittings on food processing equipment. Product can be sprayed from any position, even upside down. Recommended for use on all food processing equipment directly exposed to food products including scales, fans, carts, galleys, bottlers, chutes, conveyors, racks, ovens, stoves, fillers, mixers, freezers, rails and cooking appliances.

**Q: Ca n I use this to lubricate my electric shaver?**
A: I think there's lubricant that's designed to be skin safe for such devices. This is designed for food manufacturing equipment. I'm not certain it would not be a skin irritant.

**Q: Is this an aceptable subsitute for manufacturer recommended food grade silicone for coating meat grinding plates after washing?**
A: Consult with the food equipment manufacturer, for the recommended material to use.

**Q: Can i use in ice cream machine Vevor? Is it edible?**
A: this is refined mineral oil so it is safe for food surfaces, but i would still use it sparingly. it is primarily for reducing the friction between parts that rub together and may come into incidental contact with food

**Q: Is this good as a knife protectant?**
A: I don't know about knives but I don't know why. I used it on a stuck ice dispenser on my freezer door and it worked fine. It's designed as a lubricant so how good a protectant it is, is not something I am able to evaluate.
