Β I love it. Took a couple days but my cat loves it. He accidentally picked it up with his mouth and dropped it in water and it’s still working but kinda rusted already. I purchased this thing thinking that it would slake my cat's bloodlust, but apparently it is not a very convincing mouse substitute. When he touched it for the first time and it suddenly started making a grinding whir and scooting back and forth, he jumped away and hid under a chair to watch it suspiciously. He kept testing it over the next couple weeks but seems to have given up on it now.On the human side, the sound is really startling and annoying. It might be fine if you live in a bigger apartment and can't hear it from everywhere else in the house (including through the bedroom door at night). Since I was carrying groceries in I made a mental note to pick it up later. That was my mistake. Since that time it has disappeared. It's not under furniture or in the kitty toy box so I'm here today ordering a new one since he seems to miss it. He also enjoys the HexBugs and the HexBug mouse but I find this easier for me since the battery last longer and it's to big to go under the kitchen appliances.
