## Overview

The TMS Tactical 3X Magnifier Scope is a precision-engineered 3x magnification optic designed to convert tactical red dot sights into effective long-range targeting systems. Featuring a 30mm tube, fully coated 42mm lenses, and adjustable windage and elevation, it ensures perfect reticle alignment without losing zero. Its robust 90° quick flip-to-side mount offers rapid transition between magnified and unmagnified views, making it ideal for professional shooters seeking versatility and clarity at an unbeatable value.

## Description

A great add-on to tactical red dot sights. It converts the sights instantly into a sighting system for longer range targeting and sniping. Sometimes the combination use of red dot sight and magnifier scope will have the dot reticle out of center in the field of view of the magnifier due to misalignment of optical axis between the sight and the magnifier. This TMS magnifier scope is adjustable for windage and elevation to better align with the red dot sight without changing the actual ZERO of the sight. 30mm main tube of the magnifier works with standard 30mm scope mount of desired center height that matches that of the red dot sight. Rubber armored turret and grip area. Included with the magnifier is a quick flip to side mount that rotates to stay on and off line of sight quickly with push of a button. The mount also works with other magnifiers of standard 30mm tube size. . Magnification: 3x. Eye relief: 45mm (1 3/4inch) . Weight:7.8oz. Overall length: 4 1/2inch. Flip mount center height: 42mm Accessories: lens covers.

Review: Wow! - I rarely review items, but this is definitely worth my time. The first thing I unwrapped and tested was the mount just to make sure I would even use the mount since some other reviewers had disparaged it. This thing is solid, rock solid! I don't know how quick they need the flip to the side to be, but this is very quick and very sturdy. I have glass, good glass, on all of my rifles and many of my pistols. I decided that I could always get another mount if this mount sucked but the glass was good. I was honestly blown away by the craftsmanship of both items. I mounted this optic behind my EoTech 552 (NV capable) on a Rock River LAR-8 (.308) rifle. I mounted the EoTech as far forward on the rail as possible (standard practice) and mounted the magnifier just like a rifle scope would be mounted for eye relief. This gives me the capability to put MBUS sights between the two optics with room to spare. I then used the elevation and windage adjustments to center magnifier on the EoTech reticle. I did not have any of the issues other reviewers mentioned of seeing any other part of the EoTech when looking through the magnifier. Took maybe fifteen minutes overall from the un-boxing through last adjustment. This thing is smooth! Just like a good rifle scope, the magnification is very easy to adjust. I cannot fault a <$100.000 optic for not having the best glass on the market, but it is still as clear as some of my decent scopes (Nikon, Leupold). The beauty of this magnifier is the ability to adjust your sight picture to match your optic. As other reviewers have mentioned, it may be best to use some blue loctite on a higher caliber firearm, but mine hasn't loosened yet after almost three-hundred rounds. This doesn't change the point of impact at all (for the EoTech), it just gives you better magnification of your target. It is still as spot on accurate as when I first used it. If you are having doubts about purchasing this item, it is well worth the money.
Review: I Recomend The TMS 3X - I just mounted my TMS 3X Magnifier and ran 100 rounds with it at the range at 50 and 100 yrds. It worked great! I'm using the TMS 3X on my S&W M&P 15 with an EOTech 512 sight. It installed in minutes with no hassles and perfectly aligned with EOTech. I set it up to flip out to the right so not to obstruct my field of view when not using the magnifier. The flip out mount is rock solid in both positions. The only criticisms I can add is this is not a “flip up” spring loaded mount, it is a flip lock mount. You have to depress the locking button and push and pull to engage and disengage the optic. If you do a lot of tactical speed shooting you may need to spend more on a different mount. Something similar to EOTech’s flip-mount system. The magnifier works great with my EoTech 512. The halo is crisp when the optic is engaged and the optic can be adjusted for clearness. Shooting from my bipod at 50yrds I was getting 1-in groups. I was impressed on how clear I could see at 50yrds. At 100yrds my groups opened up between 2-3 inches. However, my EOTech 512 could not do this at 100 yrds without a magnifier. Once I had everything arranged properly on my gun the TMS 3X, EOTech 512, and Magpul flip up sights fit cleanly on top of my upper receiver. The set up looks very clean but the TMS adds weight to the gun. Having said this I would have preferred to have a quick release mount with the magnifier when I’m running speed drills within 25 yrds. I have to say I could not justify spending over $500.00 on an EOTech or AimPoint magnifier. If you are on a budget this is an OUTSTANDING optic and mount for the money. I strongly recommend optic.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have a Bushnell TRS red dot on a high rise mount (The one that comes with the red dot). Will this magnifier line up center with it? Change Riser?**
A: I have the Bushnell as well, although not sure what riser(whatever it came with). plus its adjustable so you can adjust accordingly if you need to center the dot

**Q: Has anyone tried this with an Aimpoint T-1 Micro?**
A: just put it on my ar works well for me so far have only taken to my range once so far and have no plans to do without it.. I thinbk it was money well spent.

**Q: Will this mag+mount line up with the 1/3 lower cowitness of the Vortex Strikefire2?**
A: i had no problem with a strikefire, I was using a cantilever 1/3 lower co witness, i could see the top black rim just a hair

**Q: How well does this magnifier co-witness (align) with an EOTech 512 mounted on a flat-top AR-15?**
A: The mount is very unaligned, but the adjustments on the glass can make the redical appear centered. But you will still see the inside walls of the eotech if you look though the glass.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome deal.
*by R***N on June 25, 2013*

I mounted this on my AR behind an Eotech Exps2. It works great and is quite sturdy. It is a little big, but does not hinder performance. The only complaint I have is that the release button to flip it to the side is a little hard to get to behind the Eotech. This is probably only an issue with eotechs due to the width of the sight. It's hard to explain, but the release button faces forward and is right up against the halo sight. Besides that, the mount is easily manipulated one handed for me. The magnifier itself is great. Clear and is obviously sealed. I have handled an Eotech and Aimpoint magnifier and this TMS is just as good imo. The mount is solid with no wiggles or wobbles at all. The lens caps for storage are crap, but they are just to keep the dust off.
