## Description

4U rackmount server chassis with 3 front 5.25 bays with ATX/mATX/Mini-itx support

Review: I wanted to move my desktop computer to my homelab server rack to save space. Rails are coming tonight so it's not installed yet but I did confirm it fits fine in standard 3u slot. There weren't many options for server case that would fit a full atx mobo and a full sized atx psu. As per the pictures they all fit with no issues. Hard drive cage can be removed easily if you have a longer graphics card (it's about 16 inches of space and my card is 11 inches. I always go with noctua fans and toss out any case fans. All the screws come with it except cage nuts (which i have a million of anyway). I had to get a lower profile cpu fan/heatsink. The one pictured is be quiet pore rock slim 2. My old one was 6.5 inches and there is roughly 6.25 inches clearance from cpu to the case cover. Find a cpu heatsink under 6 inches. The pcie power cord does fit but just barely with the lid on. I'm worried it will put slight downward pressure on the graphics card over time so I have a 90 degree adapter coming tomorrow (just search 90 degree pcie adapter and there are some 10-15 dollar options). It's very solid and a bit heavier than I expected. Not a pro or a con necesarily. When I tried to install without rails it was heavy enough to make it hard to manage. Def need some server rails with the weight of this tank. Not much else to say. Its a solid case and doesn't break the bank.
Review: I got this to replace my PC case, Everything fit like a glove. Some points to consider: Cons: - It only holds up to 2x 2.5'' SATA drives - There's not obvious points for fan mounting - You need to buy 2x60mm fans for the back of the case to move air out of the case. - Front fan isn't loud but it also isn't very powerful - Front handles are too large (Can't close doors on rack) Pros: - Large format GPUs will fit - Front USB ports seem to have been upgraded to 3.1 - Full ATX PSU fits with ample space

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the maximum CPU coolerr height?**
A: TLDR; it has surprisingly little air cooling capacity/space for such a large chassis.

If you have a large cooler, it likely won't work. I used this as a chassis for a Blue Iris station for the cameras for my business. Originally my plan was to air cool, but I found that anything with enough capacity to cool a 12900 was going to be way too big. I ended up having to plasma cut holes in one side to mount a side 360 radiator and two on the other for additional exhaust, because I am stubborn. On the bright side, even after having removed that much material, it is still built like a tank, but I found that by the time I modified the case to fit my needs, I spent enough time to have purchased something more inline with my needs. There won't be enough fresh air to keep your components cool with 2 120s on the front and 2 40's on the back.

**Q: Which rails do you use for this case?**
A: we have 2 type for 4U chassis,
18" rail: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BVF945MK?ref=myi_title_dp
26" rail https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BM7BXXLR?ref=myi_title_dp

**Q: What is the depth from the front panel to the rear panel? I see 18.9/19" but I'd assume that includes the handles**
A: it is 450mm not include handles, 505mm inlcude the handles,

Bought this case to replace a tower case that was sitting in my wall mount rack awkwardly taking up space. Initial impressions are the build quality better than expected, the sheet metal is fairly thick and sturdy. The case was easy to work in with ATX MOBO and PSU as well as 8 HDDs on the rail. A few downsides, USB is only 2.0, the pre-installed fan is fairly noisey but just tossed in a noctua 120mm I had. Also, disappointed that Rackchoice doesn't sell a rail kit for this case (At least can't find one). All and all, this 4u rack mount case is something I've wanted for awhile, and I'm happy I finally got it!
