## Description

SmartSeal Heavy Duty Floor Paint - Mid Grey, 5L is formulated using a special blend of high-quality thermo-acrylic and polyurethane resins. This creates a hard wearing, heavy duty elastomeric coating or paint for lasting protection to many high-trafficked areas in the residentail and commercial sector. The Heavy Duty Floor Paint provides a tough, durable, long lasting protective coating that also has an anti-slip finish. However, although the product will help, it is not possible to guarantee a totally non-slip surface after application Please note: the product should not be used to paint Latex screeds as they are normally covered with tiles, wooden flooring or carpet tiles and should not be painted. Areas of Use: The heavy duty floor paint provides good slip resistance and is suitable for use in high trafficked areas, such as stairs, garage floors, pedestrian walkways, industrial work areas and car parks. The paint also provides an anti-slip finish which is very easy to clean and maintain. The heavy duty floor paint, although it is mostly used internally, also has good UV resistant properties, so can also be used for external applications as well.

Review: A superb non-slip concrete paint - After trying to paint my concrete doorstep with two other brands, both of which peeled-off within days, I decided to try a third time with SmartSeal paint. Applies very smoothly, fast drying, has good covering power and, unlike the first two, is non-slip and has not so far peeled-off. Having been disappointed by the first two brands I was, naturally, a little wary of the manufactures claims and I only ordered a couple of 75ml pots to try. However, this was sufficient to paint my step and I have literally ordered two more pots for future use if needed. All in all a great paint.
Review: Good quality garage floor paint, but make sure you buy enough! - Colour seems exactly as expected and the first coat goes in very well when thinned with about 10% white spirit (as advised by SmartSeal). Quality and durability of the first coat seem really good. However, the claims for 30-50sqm coverage from a 5 lite tin should be noted carefully - my 15sqm garage managed with 2 coats (first coat thinned by 10%) and used the entire 5L can. Bang on their 30sqm estimate. Was hoping for plenty left over for touch-ups or even a 3rd coat, but no chance of that. So I was slightly disappointed with coverage but it has done the job well. Time will tell on long term durability.

After trying to paint my concrete doorstep with two other brands, both of which peeled-off within days, I decided to try a third time with SmartSeal paint. Applies very smoothly, fast drying, has good covering power and, unlike the first two, is non-slip and has not so far peeled-off. Having been disappointed by the first two brands I was, naturally, a little wary of the manufactures claims and I only ordered a couple of 75ml pots to try. However, this was sufficient to paint my step and I have literally ordered two more pots for future use if needed. All in all a great paint.

Colour seems exactly as expected and the first coat goes in very well when thinned with about 10% white spirit (as advised by SmartSeal). Quality and durability of the first coat seem really good. However, the claims for 30-50sqm coverage from a 5 lite tin should be noted carefully - my 15sqm garage managed with 2 coats (first coat thinned by 10%) and used the entire 5L can. Bang on their 30sqm estimate. Was hoping for plenty left over for touch-ups or even a 3rd coat, but no chance of that. So I was slightly disappointed with coverage but it has done the job well. Time will tell on long term durability.
