I have navy blue walls and I did end up buying about 3 tins just because of the size of the wall and It had about 4coats of the lacquer on but I. So pleased with it. I used over a satin finish black wood paint and the finish though even, was slightly “cloudy”. Could be that the varnish is a Matt finish and I used over a satin.
