It snaps on securely, removes easily, and gives me peace of mind when I'm not recording. My camera stays mounted on my desk with my Elgato Prompter, so dust is always a concern between recording sessions. Instead of leaving the lens exposed, I just pop this cap on when I'm done. It keeps the glass clean and protected without adding any bulk. The center-pinch design is a nice touch because it's easy to grab, even with the camera mounted in my setup. The build quality feels solid, and it doesn't feel like a cheap aftermarket accessory. It's a small purchase that helps protect a much more expensive camera. If you own the Elgato Facecam 4K and want an easy way to keep the lens dust-free and protected, I highly recommend this lens cap. Review: Great buy-Quality fit - Nice Lense cap. I actually prefer this one over the OEM cap, it fits a little snugger and has a tighter fitting. Also the little wrist strap it comes with has a higher quality fastening tape-my oem wrist strap fell off very early because the sticky tape was not very good. ## Features - Inlcudes 1 premium plastic center pinch lens cap + 1 universal elastic lens cap keeper - The lens cap protects your lens from scratches, fingerprints and the elements when the lens is not in use. While the lens cap keeper prevents loss of your lens cap - Easy to use: Simply pinch the center to quickly attach to the front of your camera lens, as to the lens cap keeper, attached with the 3M adhesive pad or loop through the cap attachment hole - Compatible with any lenses with 49mm lens thread size, Please note your camera's lens thread size will be marked somewhere on the lens barrel, such as Canon EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM Lens, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens, Sony E 35mm f/1.8 OSS Lens, Sony E 50mm f/1.8 OSS Lens, Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS Lens - Replaces Canon E-49 II lens cap or 49mm lens cap from other brand ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #4 in Camera Lens Caps | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 762 Reviews | ## Images ![49mm Front Lens Cap Cover for Canon R100 R50 + RF-S 18-45mm Kit Lens - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51yfBDQPhsL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Fit for the Elgato Facecam 4K *by G***T on August 3, 2026* I picked up this JJC 49mm lens cap to protect my new Elgato Facecam 4K, and it fits like it was made for it.
