Works great! - Very impressed with the ease and speed of repairing plastic with this. I broke the grass discharge chute of my new mower. The break was jagged and about 12 inches long. I repaired it in about 15 minutes, and it seems to be as strong as before. I used a whole small bag of staples and stapled from both sides of the break, cut the staple excess, and used the heating wand to melt one of the wide plastic rods over my repair. It was effective, but I needed a fan to keep the toxic smoke/fumes out of my face. I did this in an open garage, but there was still a lot of smoke/fumes present. No fault of the product - just part of the process. I was impressed with how quickly the staple heats up! Just insert a staple into the gun, align staple to crack, pull trigger as you apply slight pressure to the plastic, and the staple almost immediately penetrates the plastic. The only reason for the 4 stars is the lack of a case that all the other tools come with. This kit is definitely the way to go as it provides everything needed to repair and smooth over the repair with the separate iron.
