Onkyo also seamlessly compensated to my Klipsch speakers for optimum sound. Love this new Amplifier and it proves tge Onkyo is back in the game! Review: Good unit in it's price range - If you need a receiver in this price range which has preamp connections, this is pretty much the only choice. It's a good unit with clear sound and decent features. The included Direc room equalization is the standout feature. The Dirac feature works audibly better than the various other systems for room equalization. The. downside of the unit is the clumsy interface. In order to access all the features and settings you must use the settings menu, the "quick menu" and their cell phone app (required to use the Dirac system.) Adequate, but awkward. Even then, some desirable features are missing. If you have two subwoofers, the is no way to balance them. My older Denon unit had that. Also there doesn't seem to be any way to set what input the unit will use when first turned on. Mine always defaults to the streaming box. No mention of how to set this in the manual or after searching every menu. Doing an Internet search, you find a solution which doesn't work. I'm guessing a previous software version supported this, but not the latest one.
