It's not an all-singing all-dancing smart phone, sort of a nice semi-smart phone. What's nice about it is the ability to use a physical number pad for texting, and have the convenience of a touch screen for zipping through menus and looking through photos. The camera, though only 5 megapixels and with no flash takes surprisingly respectable pictures. The phone is solidly built, not too heavy, very thin so slips into jeans pockets nicely, and is really rather handsome in graphite black. If you're used to the Nokia interface like myself, then it's really very intuitive to use, though it is nothing even close to an i-phone, and does not pretend to be: the OVI store is pretty rubbish, this is not a phone for people who like to collect apps, but the applications it comes with are fine (and of course, being an unlocked version, mercifully free of "bloatware"). The battery life is decent, wifi browsing works well in the Opera browser (though of course the screen, though very nice, is about the size of a matchbox) and the sound is very at both ends. All in all it's a great phone for the price, most certainly does what it says on the tin, and as someone who has owned several Nokias over the years it is a classic Nokia phone.
