Always get turned down to donate blood. I started taking this twice a day at the beginning of third trimester in my first pregnancy. My iron levels went from a 6 to an 11.5 sometime after my son was born (10 is the threshold for not being anemic). I don't remember how long that took, but I think I used two large bottles of Floradix. Three years later I got pregnant again while still nursing my first child. I was feeling tired all the time, even if I went to bed at 8. So I ordered this product again and I feel much better. The one tricky thing if you're pregnant is that Floradix should be taken on an empty stomach and then you wait 30 minutes to eat. I usually take it first thing in the morning and when it's time to make dinner. If I miss a dose (10ml) I take 15ml for the next two doses.
