You'd do well looking on Youtube for an installation guide for it. I found that more useful than Mazda's own instructions. As for the hub, it works with my wife's iPhone just fine. It doesn't work with my Samsung Galaxy S24 however even when using the original USBC cable that came with the phone. The phone will charge but Android Auto doesn't notice it's connected to a car and the car doesn't notice the phone. I've tried different cables and tweaking USB settings on the phone but nothing has helped. I've read that AndroidAuto on Samsung phones is notoriously flaky so maybe it's not the hub's fault. 3 stars because it only half works for me which may not be an entirely fair score. UPDATE: The hub works either wirelessly which is only for Apple CarPlay or wired which is for Carplay AND Android Auto. This I knew. What I didn't realise, and I don't think the description makes clear, is that you physically have to switch between modes. There's a switch behind the flap that covers the SD card slot. You live and learn.
