I haven't tried fries yet, but cucumbers, carrots, zucchini, everything cuts in seconds and clean up is very quick. Top rack of dishwasher safe, but I just rinsed off after soapy water and let it air dry and great. Highly recommend this product despite being a bit over $70.00 Canadian. The safety of use is worth this. I have a friend last week that sliced his finger on a mandolin, and I'm not taking any chances.
