**Q: Will I get lifetime warranty and free sharpening as advised in the US website?**
A: Hi, Thanks for your interest in the Kai knife. Kai Europe is a completely different entity compared to the US and therefor has a different guarantee and processes etc. There is a generous 10 year guarantee offered by Kai Europe but no sharpening service. There is a booklet with the knife which includes a certificate of authenticity, helpful care instructions and your 10 year guarantee. Most people will use a good honing steal or sharpener in their own kitchen, which is much easier than sending the knife away for a week or longer.

**Q: does the knife come in a presentation box?**
A: It is nicely boxed with an insert to hold it in place but the box is made of card. If you are looking for something in a wooden box take a look at the the Kai Shun Premier range as they are all in wooden boxes.
