Just means it’s durable, slightly flexible yet lightweight. Very happy with the magnets on these. It’s one big strip that pretty much covers the entire back of the shelf. While other reviewers had said the magnets were good, I was still surprised by how strong they latched onto the textured side of my fridge. It’s not so strong as to make it impossible to move thankfully. I’m most pleased with the depth and height of these shelves. My items are easy to get in and out but won’t fall off if bumped. These little shelves are great, we used them on a cruise, and I enjoyed having the extra shelf space. The magnets are strong and can hold a lot of weight. They were removable and left no damage on the walls. The shelves are a good size and hold bottles easily, the hooks at the bottom were also very helpful to hang bathing suits and keycard holders. They do add weight to your suitcase so that may be a consideration for some who may want to carry in your carry-on instead.
