I bought this product some 12 years ago and it’s still going strong today. As a woman carrying a 12+ kilo bike around up and down the stairs and tube stations on and off trains on and off buses in and out of the vehicle and so on, it’s very hard when the centre of gravity and the natural place to lift the bike and not in the same place, but with the off your bike handle, miraculously positions in exactly the right point, making the bike feel lighter because the leverage forces are massively reduced by the placement of this accessory strongly strongly recommended. It may be that some models of saddle are in the right position in which case there would be no benefit. You can always go into a shop and try one hour before you buy it to check whether it’s going to be about 8 o’clock to

I have a brooks saddle which is rather unpleasant to use as a handle. This product takes all the pain away and is sat bang on the perfect point of balance both when the bike is folded and unfolded. A must have!
