The extreme heat tends to eliminate them during the summer. I always get several ticks - especially early in the season. I got one on my back before I bought Tickless in May but didn't get any more the rest of the season. Also, although I regularly apply flea and tick medication on my dogs, they normally get one or two ticks during the season. This year, I didn't find any on them after I bought Tickless. I always walk my dogs and the sonic affect seemed to extend to them too. ### ⭐ Lasted three days *by A***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on July 1, 2021* I used the device for three days and then tried to use again after a few weeks. However, the battery was dead and I couldn't turn on the device. Hatte bei meinen Wanderungen mit Hund keine Zecke und wenig Mückenattacken. Aber : die Verarbeitung ist schlecht. Man kann die verwendete Batterie nicht wechseln ( nicht gerade Umweltfreundlich !! ). Der Halteclip ist so stramm verarbeitet, daß er nach wenigen malen anstecken abgebrochen ist. Nun ist das Teil nur noch mit Trick und Aufwand zu tragen bzw. benutzen.
