I absolutely love it. Its like putting 800 watts of solar on your roof top with unlimited sun. Seriously, this was a very easy install and this device functions as a charger and power source. It quickly tops off your lithium batteries and gives you an accurate level of charge depending upon how much juice your batteries have. This Victron Energy Orion-XS Smart DC to DC Charger is the single most important modification I have done to my RV. I absolutely love it. This DC Converter is fantastic. I have the 30amp version on my sailboat and enjoy that unit, however I will continue to use this smart 50amp version for all my uses moving forward. The device is smaller, and has ability to control the incoming amperage, and outgoing amperage to fit the use better. The adjustment of amperage has been elemental to success on my boondock RV switching from short power, to truck alternator, to any other DC power source I may plug in. Highly suggest Victron in total and this XS unit specifically.
