I purchased this to replace a Mizudo Pureflo system I purchased last year. That system had two filters and the water was no different tasting than the tap water coming out of my faucet. After contacting them, their solution to me was to purchase another inline filter that they sell for about half the price of the entire system. NOT!! When it came time to replace the filters in that system I found they were very close to the same price of the entire original system purchase. What a ripoff! The ripoff system did give me some data points to work with when buying a new system. I was able to look up what filters are necessary to improve the taste of the water and I also checked to see what replacement filters would cost me at todays prices for future purchases. This system also came with extra filters for the next replacement and all of this was for less than the price of the replacement filters of the other system. It was a pretty quick install, as I already had the other system in stalled. I did have to replace the connection on the water valve for my sink. The old system used a larger hose for incoming water and I did not want to just add a reducer. I didn't have to shut my water off, just the 1/4 turn valve under the sink. The drain connection was the same, so that saved some time. I took my time and it took me about a an hour to install the system. I didn't care much for the directions. You have to read every line and then try to visualize that information into the effort, instead of just having visual instructions that were more specific about which color line went where. The drain line was also already attached, but that wasn't clear in the instructions. Some of the locations for the line connections were pretty vague about where the line was actually connecting as well, but common sense and a little knowledge will get you through. The system seems to be well made. Some of the people complained about it leaking after a couple of years. I can't see where anything would break unless you were bumping things into it or moving it around. The plastic housing on the filters and the connections to the system are all really thick. I guess time will tell. After filling for about an hour I turned the water on and let it run until the flow got pretty weak. I did that three times. The next day the water was clear and the pressure was really strong. Much faster flow than the electric pump system I removed. Happy for now.
