## Description

Bacteriostatic polypropylene spun cartridges made using "melt-blown" technique and dedicated to cold water filtration. Cartridges contain antibacterial agent, nanosilver based - BACinixTM. Cartridges are made from polypropylene with an addition of antimicrobial agent based on silver. They remove sediments such as sand, silt, rust and suspended solids. BACinixTM nanosilver technology protects the cartridges from microbiological growth, increasing cartridges longevity.  These durable melt-blown water filter cartridges are the only cartridges available treated with Antimicrobial/Antibacterial Nano silver BACINIXTM technology.  This technology is new to the water filter industry and Aquafilter is the only firm offering this advanced technology within a wide range of product lines.  Antimicrobial/Antibacterial technology has been used in the medical industry and is branching out into water treatment industries.  This technology helps destroy bacteria as well as inhibit the growth of mould.  The Aquafilter range of melt-blown cartridges have multiple fibre zones, providing a graded pore structure throughout the filter's depth.  Our filter cartridges have been designed to capture and retain contaminants throughout the entire cross section of the filter.  The multiple fibre zones give our filter cartridges a major competitive advantage over other melt-blown filters with fewer pore size gradients in their structure.  Unlike competitive "treated media" products, Aquafilter cartridges will continue to provide safety and protection for customers while outlasting the competition.
