Review: I really like this all-metal stand! It's very lightweight and the build quality is excellent - EVERYTHING except the soft PVC coating of the clamp prongs is metal. There is absolutely no flex in any parts except the clamp and it feels rock solid when placed on a flat surface. There is even nice quality silicone-like feet on the bottom of the stand to prevent it from skidding around your table. While this inexpensive but great quality stand is marketed as a microscope holder I found a ton of other uses on my workbench including holding my flux dispensing syringe and keeping repair parts in place. Recommended!

I really like this all-metal stand! It's very lightweight and the build quality is excellent - EVERYTHING except the soft PVC coating of the clamp prongs is metal. There is absolutely no flex in any parts except the clamp and it feels rock solid when placed on a flat surface. There is even nice quality silicone-like feet on the bottom of the stand to prevent it from skidding around your table.
