The rotis come out uniform in shape and size, which is helpful if you struggle with rolling them manually. However, the biggest drawback is that the rotis do not always puff like traditional tawa rotis, which affects their softness and taste. Sometimes they feel slightly dry or hard. There is also a small learning curve, as the dough consistency and pressing technique matter a lot. Build quality is decent but may not be very durable in cheaper models. Overall, it is a good option for quick cooking and convenience, but it cannot fully replace the taste and texture of handmade rotis.
