When applying subsequent coats allow to dry fully before recoating (normally 4-6 hours) avoid heavy wear and tear for a few day after application. On previously decorated decking touch up bare areas to dry before finishing with further coats.Surface should be free from algae and mould. Where these are present , brush decking to remove old dirt and debris and then clean the surface with a decking cleaner. I wish they did tester pots as I ordered this on a wing and a prayer lol. Luckily it came as close to the decking colour as I wanted. Its more of a dark reddish mahogany colour as opposed to the deep brownish one I wanted. It was dented on arrival and the delivery guy placed it in such a way that I didn't see the huge dent when signing for it so be sure to check all sides.
