Q: Will this work on 2022 Kia Sorento

Q: how long does it take to charge to full ?

it depends on the storage capacity of your car battery and how 'empty' it is. My BMWi3 can sore approx 150 miles of range (Tesla Model S around 280 for comparison).. I can charge in around 6 hours at 240Volts

Q: Is there an app for this charger? can it control the SoC? ex: I want to charge to 80% then stop automatically.

There is no app, but I haven't missed having one. I can program charging sessions using my car's app. This is a good, reliable charger. I've had no issues with it since purchase in June 2021.

Q: After 3 days I keep getting a “short circuit” message after 10 minutes of charging. Any ideas?

Sounds like your electrical circuit doesn’t have enough amps to support it. That’s an uneducated guess. The specs say a 40 amp is sufficient, but my electrician recommended 60 to avoid tripping the power.
