I also tried the 4-12x50 AO but this was quite a lot bigger and quite unnecessary for an air rifle and the 3-9x40 AO is more than adequate for the closer ranges. I really like the fact the sight can be zeroed using Mk-1 fingers (no messing around with coins or screwdrivers) and the parallax compensation works really.
