In a 2200 square foot home. We use it Daley . We lightly spray all carpet, fabric and pet areas. It last a month easily, so I would say with regular usage, 1 month. I was skeptical, but somehow it works well. Not perfect but certainly a noticeable improvement. **Q: Does type of water matter? The instructions say to “add tap water” - however, is distilled water or filtered tap water ok?** A: I don’t think it would matter. I just tap water., and that works well. I spray my pillows a couple of times a week and haven’t had any issues at all. **Q: How long does this take to dry if you spray your mattress and pillows ?** A: Hi...it does take a short amount of time but I spray probably more than I need. I usually turn the bed covers down about an hour before going to bed. This spray really helps me a lot. My son has dog/cat allergies and has been on allergy shots for years. When he went away to college it was really hard for him to visit - it was like having a break from the pets made it harder on his allergies to get exposed again when he came home. I started getting ads for Pacagen but it's really expensive and they have different sprays for cats and dogs and we have both so I tried this. It's cheaper than Pacagen and it works really well. He's not had trouble visiting since we started using it!
