On my one car it stuck solid and I could not budge the suction cup. On my other car I found that it slipped with a moderate pull. I cleaned the area with alcohol and it stuck solid. You may need to prep the area you are sticking this too. This thing has a lot of uses, can stick it to a hood or side of a car. Review: Quality suction cup! - Works as advertised. Great way for some added security to tie down your SUP to your vehicle! Easier than using the tow hooks on the front of the vehicle.
