The write smoothly. These are my favorite pens. I have been using them for at least 10 years. Please don't stop making these amazing pens, UniBall! Black is the best color ink for this product line. Other colors are great if you want to try the variety pack. They are easy to write with and comfortable in my hand when writing. Easy to find because the of the light gray color of the outside of the pen. (Dark colors would get lost in my backpack or purse.) This pen has some security feature for writing checks but not sure how that works. ## Features - Celebrating 25 years of Vision Elite—trusted for smooth, leak-free performance at any altitude - Capped rollerball pens deliver smooth flowing ink for consistent, vibrant writing - 0.8 mm bold point produces an outstanding ink lay-down for pronounced lettering and vivid drawings - uni-Flow Ink System ensures a consistent, delightfully fluid writing experience - Fade-proof liquid roller pens have uni Super Ink that makes them water and fraud-resistant - Airplane-safe ink prevents leakage even when cabin pressure changes - This stylish liquid ink rollerball pen combines sleek design with elite performance to fit all your writing needs ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00008XPO8 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Age range (description) | Adult | | Animal Theme | no animal theme | | Body Shape | Cylindrical | | Brand | uni-ball | | Brand Name | uni-ball | | Closure Type | Retractable | | Colour | Black | | Country Of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,491 Reviews | | Drill Point | bold point | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00030246612316, 00070530612318 | | Grip Type | Ribbed | | Hardness | HB | | Included Components | 12 Rollerball Pens | | Ink Base | Water | | Ink Colour | Black | | Ink colour | Black | | Is the Product Left or Right Handed? | Ambidextrous | | Item Diameter | 5.63 Millimetres | | Item Dimensions | 16 x 143 x 13 millimetres | | Item Type Name | Pen | | Item Weight | 0.24 Pounds | | Line Size | 2mm_and_above | | Manufacturer | Uni-ball | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | Vision Elite | | Model Number | 61231 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Writing | | Special Features | Quick Drying | | Style | 0.8 mm Bold | | Theme | Cartoon | | UPC | 030246612316 070530612318 | | Unit Count | 12.0 count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | | Writing Instrument Form | Roller Ball Pen | | Writing Technique | rollerball | | Writing instrument form | Roller Ball Pen | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** uni-ball - **Colour:** Black - **Ink colour:** Black - **Material:** Plastic - **Model name:** Vision Elite - **Point type:** bold point - **Special feature:** Quick Drying - **Unit count:** 12.0 count - **Writing instrument form:** Roller Ball Pen ## Images ![Uniball Vision Elite Rollerball Pens, Black Pens Pack of 12, Bold Pens with 0.8mm Ink, Ink Black Pen, Pens Fine Point Smooth Writing Pens, Bulk Pens, and Office Supplies - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71pRqeknu+L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is the ink acid free ?** A: I don't know if they are acid free or not - these pens are though and maybe they will work for you? : uni-ball Vision Elite Stick Bold Point Roller Ball Pens, 4 Blue-Black Ink Pens(67182PP) Also sold by Amazon.com.
