The pictures are not consistent.** A: You can tie them tight each time you put them on but most people tie a loose hard knot one time and wear them as slip-ons. **Q: Can these shoes be washed n the washing machine?** A: Yes... but.... take the insert out. The insert is made up of two materials. One is a thin cloth liner on top of the foam insert. When I washed mine the two separated and the cloth shrunk a bit but I used some spray glue and it worked for a spell. Ultimately you will have to buy a new insert to put in them. Kinda a weak point in the design. Super comfy though. **Q: Considering buying these from seller 'one nation premium'.. has anyone purchased from them? is it the real Sperry shoe or a knockoff?** A: So, I contacted Sperry and they state unless shoes on here list they are Sold by them “Sperry” or Amazon, do not buy them because anyone else is not an “Authorized reseller of Sperry”. Sperry also states they cannot and will not warranty shoes sold by anyone on Amazon.com other than “Sperry” or Amazon listed as the seller. **Q: What size can I order if in most shoes my number is 38 - 38 1/2 European, in adidas I am 7us?** A: I would go with a 7 1/2 bc Sherry’s need a lot of breaking in.
