I had the very unusual experience of finding my first unit to be “featherweight“ like a small piece of plastic. It did not appear to have a battery installed it would not charge. I returned it for a replacement and the second unit did weigh as if it had a lithium ion battery in it 2 to 3 times the weight of the first one I purchased. I can’t speak to I have not used it much, but it appears to work fairly well.
