But this tea just didn't taste quite right to me. I'm not sure if it was the vanilla flavor that just didn't appeal to me, but it was somehow artificial tasting. He is a huge fan of vanilla and we had just started drinking teas together so I wanted to pick up a few different ones to try. I stepped the bloom and poured the first two cups thinking it smelled really good. I tasted it and was caught off guard by the intense vanilla flavor. I am not even really a big fan of the flavor and most of the time have found it to be bland but this tea is different from any other I have tried.Aside from the beautiful bloom that looks pretty in your clear tea pot it tastes absolutely decadent. Think perfectly sweet (not too much or too little) whipped vanilla frosting. It tastes like a dessert. I am a new fan and will be buying more. It is a bit pricy but worth it.
