The instruction sheet covers many different models. The one I have is the C-75. One of the other ones listed is the MM-21, which the instructions say "incorporating special rubber wheels to permit stamping on a variety of surfaces, such as corrugated cartons, wood and metal." If on the other hand you are talking about the C-75 actually making the impression of the numbers and letters on a soft metal, it might, but I don't know how long it would last doing that. **Q: Do any Lion stampers have a # sign?** A: No **Q: I want to use nbrs on semi soft clay. If machine inks or not does not matter - but it must leave the nbr impressed.
