This syrup is a mixture of blue agave nectar (Agave tequilana weber) and nectar of Black Maple (acer nigrum) and sugar maple (acer saccharum).It has a golden colour, pleasant taste and an extremely high sweetening power. What is agave syrup?This is a sweetener mainly composed of fructose, highly soluble, with low tendency to crystallize and a sweetening power higher than sucrose (common sugar). Thanks to the prevalence of this sugar leads to a very low glycemic index compared to most common sweeteners (no insulin-dependent diabetes). From a nutritional point of view is rich in calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron. What is maple syrup?It is a concentrated SAP consists primarily of sucrose.
