When I got my new iPad, I knew I would be drawing more using Procreate. You can get used to drawing without a paper like screen protector, but it’s more enjoyable with one. I haven’t noticed that it’s wearing down the tip of my Apple Pencil too much - I guess it depends how much you draw with it. I use a matte screen protector on my phone too because it greatly reduces glare. You do loose some vibrancy and peak brightness in my opinion, but it’s worth it to me. It’s a little tricky installing it since there’s no guide included. Just take your time and make sure you get rid of every single dust speck.
