I am awful at cleaning up immediately after use, so I would often open the lid of my toddy to find a moldy mess on my reusable bag. This is a personal failing, but one I don’t anticipate being remedied anytime soon. The paper bags are obviously a more expensive, less eco friendly option, but being able to dump them in the trash without coaxing grounds out of a cotton bag is SO MUCH EASIER that it’s absolutely worth it for me. The filters are thinner than the original toddy filter, but seem to work fine.
