## Description

Embark on a journey reminiscent of the golden age of rail travel with the Hornby TT1002TXSM The Easterner Train Set - Digital TT Gauge train set. While train travel may have become more standardised in the BR era, this did not dampen the majesty of a steam hauled service. This set includes the 4-6-2 LNER A4 locomotive, the fastest steam locomotive in the world as it could be seen in BR days, without perhaps its most iconic colour scheme but with some very complimentary BR Maroon Mark 1 coaches. This set contains a starter oval of track and a siding providing a good size layout for you to get started. This included circuit can be expanded with our easy to add track extension packs. This digital set even features a 'sound fitted' design, so your engine will make realistic sounds as it travels! Perfect for those with limited space, this T T Gauge train set 1:120 scale model provides an ideal starting point for building your model train collection, offering compatibility with all TT 120 model railway gauge layouts. Hornby's TT Gauge range fills the gap between the big '00' and small 'N' sizes, fitting effortlessly on tabletop layouts while remaining easily manageable - ideal train gifts for train enthusiasts of all ages. With its easy assembly and user-friendly track system, this electric train set is equally enjoyable for children discovering the wonders of trains and adults reminiscing about bygone days. As the UK's premier model railways designer for over a century, Hornby ensures quality and innovation, exemplified by the HM7000 Revolutionary Control System. With Bluetooth technology and a free downloadable app, controlling your layout has never been easier or more immersive. The Hornby TT1002TXSM The Easterner Train Set digital TT 1:120 steam engine train set includes 1 x The Easterner Train, 3x Coaches, 1x Transformer, 1x Rerailer, 1x 3rd Radius Starter Oval with Track Pack 1 - Controller not included (app control based), offering everything you need to bring your miniature railway to life. Also see our range of other freight train, steam train and electric train model building kits.
