The price seems painful per gram of parts however you're paying to make GoPro's design mistake go away, you're paying to eliminate headaches, which it does. And installation was very easy and smooth. I really can't imagine using a media mod without this adapter kit; I have no idea what GoPro was thinking, but this kit fixes GoPro's mistake and makes the mod usable.
