But some weeks later I tried to have a permanent monitor hooked via the hdmi outlet from this adapter. It never worked. Tried connecting to various monitor inputs using appropriate hdmi-to-whatever needed adapters - no luck. The USB-port out of this adapter also is iffy. So this has become totally useless for me. I cannot even return it now as some time has passed by since I purchased.
