My medusa piece came intact, beautiful 😍 white, well packed, I'm having second thoughts if I should paint 🎨 it or not, done.

Medusa is so often displayed as a monster but this book shelf decor is beautiful and amazing. Its not super heavy but still sturdy and adds an elegance to my shelf

The media could not be loaded. I ordered the white version of this Medusa Head Book Nook with plans to paint it to my liking, and I’m really happy with the end result! As other reviewers have mentioned, there are some deformations in the piece—particularly with the fingers/nails, which are missing parts or have extra bits in odd places, and the snake fangs are a bit undersized and uneven. However, the center of the piece—Medusa’s face—is absolutely stunning and flawless on the one I received.The level of detail on this piece is impressive! The raised accents around her eyes, the intricate jewelry on her hand, the off-shoulder details, and the scales on the snakes were so fun to paint and really added to the character of the design. When I first opened it, I almost decided not to paint it because the raw white look was already beautiful on its own!That said, the price is a little steep given the minor imperfections fresh out of the box. If the manufacturer could address the molding process to improve the edge details, this piece would be absolutely worth the asking price. Despite these flaws, I love the final result, and now my friends want one too!

This Medusa bookend is far too fragile to be used that way, but it makes a lovely decoration. If I had any talent, I'd paint it. But it looks fine as a dusty gray.
