We are using it in our rental car with bluetooth since I do not want to pair my cell's bluetooth with the car's speaker.one piece pf Go4 iz very sufficient for us, we did not expect this great sound from such a tiny and compact speaker! good punch, clear and crisp treble...The apps allows adding a Go4 to make a pair of stereo speakers! Now It is even better, I get a better stereo by putting the speakers left n right on the dashboard. A smart stereo configuration innovation, it is tempting us to buy a second Go4.

I’m Floored!!!!! Such big sound for such a small price!!I needed something small, but I wanted a halfway decent sound. I got way more than I bargained for. This little gem packs a whallop. I read some reviewers complaints that there was no adjustment to sound equalization but downloading the easy to use JBL app gave me that option. Clearly, at this price point, I am not going to get perfect sound but the quality that comes out of this little baby is sweet. JBL provides preset options for vocal or energetic or chill or JBL signature settings. Don’t like the settings? Choose their custom option and play around till you get the sound that you want.I tried a little vocal simplicity with a Gino Vannelli solo and hopped over to pure rock with a Prince/Tom Petty tribute to George Harrison. The vocal solo was a little more pure, but the speaker handled energetic rock really well.My husband came in and heard this and immediately asked if I would grab one for him as well. Since I’m going to buy another one for myself, I guess I’ll get one for him, too. Maybe we will sync all three and have ourselves a little concert!

Just what I needed! I bought a couple of these because our TVs are getting old and the sound isn't great. This puts the sound near me as I cook in the kitchen, banging pots and pans, so I can hear without blasting the house. It connects easily with the TV has just the right amount of controls and is easy to see if it needs charging. PLUS its waterproof, so I can take it to the bath if I want to soak a bit. Good product, price is right, sound isn't perfect but great for the price and better than other speakers.

Absolutely LOVE our JBL GO4 speaker. It is the perfect size for travel- it fits in the palm of my hand. See picture for reference. It easily connects to our Apple phones. We use it in the bathroom during showering and the sound carries beautifully. It’s been durable as we’ve used it in humid locations, during a rainy tailgate and by the pool. We also have the JBL Flip 6 and this smaller option still provides similar quality sound. Definitely recommend- especially if you find it on sale like we did!

Honestly really impressive volume and sound quality for the size. I like it for the convenience and portability. I bought it to mostly use at work, and it's nice having something that sounds good but is super small, doesn't take up a lot of space, easy to move around with me, I can just throw it in my pocket.The only thing I'm disappointed in is the battery life. The listing says 7 hours of play, but I've had it fully charged and 2 days in a row it didn't even make it a full 5 hours. I havnt had it on maximum volume but I have had it on high volume. I'm wondering of when they say 7 hours of play they mean low volume lol. Still good overall, but was hoping that when fully charged it would last for almost an entire 8 hour shift you know?Either way, still probably one of the best small speakers in this size range. Gonna be great for hiking and stuff like that as well, anytime you want some tunes on the go when you're out and about. Mostly just wanted to leave a review to let other people know what to realistically expect with the battery life. 5 hours is still pretty good considering the size and sound quality. Just think products should be accurately represented and not embellished. If they said 5 hours and that's what it was then I have no reason to be disappointed. I still would have bought it. But when you exaggerate specs on something then you have a discrepancy between expectations and reality.

I was definitely skeptical. I had read that you needed to operate it out of its own App, that it wasn’t really that loud and that it rattled. None of the above were true. It packs a mean bass for its size, connects through standard Bluetooth and it’s easy to carry anywhere. I purchased the camo version for camping. The battery life lasts around 4-6 hours; depending on your volume preference. Very durable and easy to use. The price is unbeatable for what you get. Having said all of this, don’t expect to tear walls down with the output on this guy. It puts out the right crisp volume and operates very well within a campfire vicinity. Recommended.
