Cats like it and used it right away. The plants are sparse and do look fake, but you can always add your own or change it. I saw another reviewer use stones instead of the "moss" they give you and I will be doing that as well - loved that idea. It looks great. I have a small apartment and it was bigger than expected but still doesn't take too much space. I love that the litter box is now hidden!!
