Review: Strong Sturdy Steamer! - Well worth the money. Silicone-wrapped feet, thick metal, expandable stem makes pick-up a dream. Very nice product!
Review: Well made with some good design points - This is a new version of the semi-standard folding-flower sort of steamer basket. It is solid stainless and of a slightly heavier gauge metal than I have seen in the past. It sports two nice features. Where a classic steamer of this sort would have a wee metal pole sticking up from the middle that would be the same height as the basket and have a small ring at the top, this one has a telescoping pole with a flat handle at its top. Closed down it is the same height as the basket. Fully extended it puts the handle several inches above the basket which should provide a more comfortable handle with which to pull it from a steaming pot. Though the pole when collapsed is no taller than the basket, it may be unscrewed from the steamer and will fit nicely inside the folded basket Additionally, rather than three, scratchy metal feet that you would not want to put in a non-stick pot, this basket has three folding legs, each covered with bright green and soft silicone rubber. They should handle any heat produced while steaming and, given that silicone rubber is good to 600-700F, should survive a reasonably brief exposure to full heat if you inadvertently boil off all your water. That is just my opinion, not a claim the manufacturer has made (that I know of). So, I find no cons whatsoever and several pros with this steamer. I like it and I will buy it again.

- 【FOLDABLE LEGS WITH SILICONE COVER】Featuring three foldable legs with silicone covers, our broccoli steamer protects non-stick pots from scratches. The 1.2-inch feet elevate food above boiling water and prevent food from soaking, ensuring optimal steaming results. With its highly polished surface, cleaning is a breeze—simply hand wash or pop it in the dishwasher for added convenience. Foldable legs for compact storage when not in use.
- 【MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS】Beyond steaming, our versatile steam basket doubles as a steam tray, veggie strainer, serving plate, rack steamers, colander and more, making it a kitchen essential for busy moms, college students, and culinary enthusiasts alike. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ooooooh! THAT'S what this thing is....
*by M***W on August 1, 2026*

I must have been handed down 2 or 3 of these over the years and I honestly had no idea what it was. I thought it was a mystery insert to some kitchen equipment that I no longer had. Now that I'm 52, trying to eat healthy and steaming a lot of Japanese foods I've rediscovered the folding steamer. This one has plastic coated feet which was very important to me. I will be using it in a copper pot that is very easily scratched. Now if I'm steaming buns or a protein in my larger steaming pot I can steam something else in my copper pot using this steamer basket. Fantastic! That means I don't have to buy a second steaming pot and find a place to store it in the kitchen.
