I use it while fishing from my kayak and it has been helpful to have. The PROS: It is easy to set up, It displays depth, fish and water temperature, battery life has been great. The CONS: It is difficult to view while paddling the kayak, the cords and components are a bit unwieldy in a kayak. I fish pretty much exclusively on lakes that are 50 acres and smaller. For those bodies of water it has been very helpful to see the water temperature and depths.
