The extra strap material catches on everything and wears out the strap.** A: I don't see how the extra strap material could cause the problem your are describing. The part of the strap that attaches to the part going around your wrist attaches 100% of its length to the layer around your wrist, right up to the end of the strap. There is no "extra strap material" - it's all attached neatly by Velcro. I know it took me a few tries to understand how to attach the strap. Perhaps you need to recheck the instructions.
