Plus the internal ceramic strainer that is part of the kettle opposed to a little cheap metal attachment has been a plus and from what I’ve read helps open the loose tea more giving a better flavor. I was surprised by some of the reviews that said they put it on the stove. It's a tea pot NOT A KETTLE!!! Seriously why would someone think you could put this and use this to heat water on the stove! Seriously why! It's common sense! Regardless of other people's lack of cognitive ability it retains heat well steeps tea cleanly and the internal filter works very well. It was a bit out of my price range originally but for the money this is a beautiful very functional tea pot. Very good price. Very very happy with it.

Nice set. Looks just like the pictures. Seems to be holding up well and good quality as far as I can tell. Great product... absolutely love. Got it for my wife's birthday and it's very well made. I was surprised by some of the reviews that said they put it on the stove. It's a tea pot NOT A KETTLE!!!
