The alarm is a classic doorbell with a good sound level that you can't miss. It offers other tunes like a digital watch from the 80s, but they aren't particularly useful in my view unless you want something easier to ignore. I shied away from another brand as there were a lot of comments about not working after a few months, and concerns over less readily available batteries. This one seems fine.
