We specifically wanted dual players that could play two different movies, we needed this specific vacation to be as stress free as possible. And two kids fighting over a movie did not sound fun. The ONLY thing we had to purchase separately were headphones, and that was not a problem. We loved that there were two ways to mount the players. Super easy install and stable/firm. Each kid had their own remote (that works on either player). No sharing, no fighting. When they did want to watch the same movie all we did was connect both players together with the cords provided and bam. Done. The one and only hiccup we have experienced so far was one DVD player did not want to read a disc at one point during our trip (we then connected it to the other one to share the movie.) The next day, it turned on and read the disc just fine. And haven’t had a problem since. The video quality is not a problem. The kids watched the movies just fine, no complaints about sound, or remotes, or trouble shooting. They’re portable DVD players, not a HD 4k TV, so the picture quality is just fine for our kids.
