Accepted a number of audio recordings I wanted to take to another Mac Pro running El Capitan. But though they loaded fine from the now distant other Mac, they have suddenly proved in capable of opening Audacity 2.2.2 on the El Capitan, and having failed to now seem to have deleted themselves to an indication of zero GB. If this is the result of a new game being played by Apple (which suggests installing FFmpeg) through iTunes (which opens but will not accept them) or anything else, that will see me dropping Apple altogether after ten years.
