This blender looks good and performs very well. It can reach a speed of 24,000 rpm and has a 1400W motor, definitely the most powerful blender out there for under £250. The jar is glass, so it's heavy and cumbersome, the lid is leak proof but the closing cap is not (do not overfill jar or it will leak). The base is stainless steel and matches most modern appliances. The entire unit just about fits under the kitchen cabinets without the lid on, still you won’t be able to remove or attach the jar without tipping or sliding away from under the cabinets the entire blender. The programs interface is easy to use and the 3 programs are effective, however it would be nice to have more choices (soup, sauces, etc.), unfortunately there is no pulse function, also the buttons are not rubberized so it's easy to get dirt in between the grooves. So far I've made fruit smoothies, green smoothies, soups and sauces and results were good but not perfect (a second cycle is needed to blend to above average smoothness). The blender is loud but to acceptable levels, also it is never necessary to run it for longer than 1 or 2 minutes so noise is never a big issue. The motor cannot be run for longer than 3 minutes consecutively, the jar is not suitable for use with anything hotter than 60C and warranty is 2 years. Cleaning is easy and can be done by running the interval program with water and soap in the jar or just rinse the jar under the tap. In the end, the WMF never felt like a high-performing blender despite its speed and power and this is why I decided to send it back and fork out instead £350 for a Blendtec Total blender. Having now used the Blendtec for a couple of days I can say that it dwarfs the WMF on every possible aspect (including the 8yrs warranty and the two jars that come with the Blendtec). In conclusion I’d suggest either investing your money in a commercial-grade blender or else go for the inexpensive option (like the Duronic BL1200), the WMF falls somewhere in between but fails to meet expectations.

The blender can be bought on Amazon.es or .it direct for about £130 (including delivery), so my advice is to avoid marketplace sellers. I felt reluctant spending big money on a professional blender such as Vitamix or Blendtec so I ordered, and tested the WMF for about a week In my opinion the WMF is a very good low-budget alternative to professional blenders. This blender looks good and performs very well. It can reach a speed of 24,000 rpm and has a 1400W motor, definitely the most powerful blender out there for under £250. The jar is glass, so it's heavy and cumbersome, the lid is leak proof but the closing cap is not (do not overfill jar or it will leak). The base is stainless steel and matches most modern appliances. The entire unit just about fits under the kitchen cabinets without the lid on, still you won’t be able to remove or attach the jar without tipping or sliding away from under the cabinets the entire blender. Update2: Fotos nach zwei Jahren regelmäßiger Nutzung hinzugefügt (Juni 2016) Update1: Korrektur wegen Bianco Primo und Puro (Juni 2015). Hatte die beiden Mixer in der Rezension durcheinandergebracht, was aber am grundsätzlichem Kaufpreisargument in keinerlei Hinsicht rüttelt. Danke für den Hinweis in den Kommentaren ;) Hallo, habe den Standmixer WMF Kult pro Power mit 1400Watt Leistungsaufnahme bei/von Amazon für 175,99€ inklusive Versand gekauft. Nur der silberne (Cromargan) mit Zusatzbezeichnung "Power" hat die 1400W Leistungsaufnahme und angegebene 24000 Umdrehungen pro Minute im Leerlauf. Dazu 275km/h an den äußeren Messern. Die andersfarbigen Standmixer haben nur angegebene 1200 Watt. Also bitte bei Bestellung und zur Differenzierung der Bewertungen darauf achten! Vor der Bewertung technisches zum Vergleich, was viele Smoothie-Liebhaber vielleicht interessieren wird: Die 1400W beziehen sich auf die daraus resultierende Aufnahme aus der Steckdose und nicht auf die Leistung an den Messern. Die wird sicherlich wie bei allen Geräten geringer sein. Auch Wirkungsgrad genannt. Wieviel stecke ich an Leistung rein, für das, was ich rausbekomme...ganz wichtiger Aspekt! Auf gutem Wirkungsgrad vertraue ich WMF allerdings nach jahrzehntelanger Zufriedenheit. Und deshalb...speziell beim teureren Konkurrenten Omniblend bin ich mir nicht sicher, wieviel Leistung an den Messern ankommen. Laut Firmenhomepage sind es auch "nur" BIS ZU 950 Watt. Also zeugen die dort angegebenen und BIS ZU 3PS/2238 Watt Leistungsaufnahme meiner Meinung nach von einem sehr schlechten Wirkungsgrad. Gebt mal den Suchbegriff "JTC Omniblend V max. Drehzahl" bei der bekannten Videoplattform ein und schaut euch das gemessene Ergebnis von nur 20400 Umdrehungen pro Minute an! Gibt dort auch noch andere optische Messungen, allerdings am Messer, die wirklich sehr fehlerbehaftet sein können. Und der Name des Erstellers ist dann auch interessant. Auch verstehe ich diesen Hype um überteuerte BPA-freie Plastikbehälter aus Tritan nicht. Als Argument wird immer der vergessene Löffel im Glasbehälter und die darauf folgende "Splitterbombenwirkung" angegeben... Hat da einer vom anderen abgeschrieben, oder jemand wirklich schon so ein Erlebnis gehabt? Sicherheit ist natürlich ein wichtiges Argument, aber hier wird meiner Meinung nach wirklich verkaufsfördernd übertrieben! Gebt mal "Tritan" in die Suchmaschine ein. Gerade für die Gesundheitsapostel sollten sich hier weitere Fragen ergeben... Und von im Standmixer erhitzte Suppen nehme ich persönlich Abstand. Lieber damit herstellen und dann andernweitig erwärmen. Die Lebensdauer solch eines Motors wird sicherlich durch diese Auffassung um einen sehr großen Faktor erhöht! Außerdem habe ich eine Spülmaschine ;) Wollte mir nach langer Recherge eigentlich den Bianco Primo kaufen, nachdem dieser im Netz so hervorgehoben wurde. Aber der hat für seine 299€ funktionelle Nachteile, die ich mit dem WMF nicht habe. Für mich war dieses Thema jedenfalls abgehakt. Kaufpreise: 150€, 299€ und 599€ Nun aber zum WMF Kult pro Power ;) Nach dem Auspacken war ich wirklich positiv überrascht, das man zu diesem Kaufpreis so einen schönen Power-Standmixer mit Glaskrug bekommen kann. Er ist nicht wuchtig und so häßlich wie andere wesentlich teurere Power-Standmixer. Wirkt sehr wertig. WMF halt... Gestartet habe ich mit Spülmittelwasser bei kleinster manueller Stufe, um die Motorkohlen auf dem Motorkollektor anzupassen und den Standmixer einzufahren, bzw. zu reinigen. Toll ist auch, das man den Glaskrug mit dem Griff in vielen Positionen (Griffpositionierung) rundherum aufsetzen kann. Einfach nur raufstellen und gut. Sehr praxisfreundlich! Ohne dem Eigengewicht vom Glaskrug würde diese Funktionalität auch gar nicht möglich sein. Mit Plastik so jedenfalls nicht sicher zu bewerkstelligen! Wie erwähnt wiegt der dickwandige Glaskrug natürlich, ist nun aber auch nicht ein Handicap in der Nutzung. So wie beschrieben ist es jedenfalls keine Fitnessübung, mit diesem Krug zu hantieren. Mir persönlich ist es jedenfalls lieber, als irgendwelches Plastik, welches altert und vielleicht auch sonstiges nach Zeit bei täglicher Nutzung absondert. Nicht perfekt ist allerdings die Formgebung vom Ausguss. Bleibt immer etwas hängen und man muß sich damit arrangieren. Und als Tip zum Anheben des Deckels...Glaskrug am Griff in die Hand nehmen und den Deckel mit den Daumen hochdrücken, denn dieser sitzt doch schon sehr fest. Die Bedienung ist wirklich intuitiv und gut. Ebenfalls die zugehörige Beleuchtungsoptik. Ähnlich dem Bianco Puro. Die öfters bemängelte 3-Sekunden-Sicherheit finde ich übrigens sehr gut. Der Standmixer startet nicht sofort, sondern erst nach Zeitverzögerung. Vielleicht sieht man ja in der Zeit den vergessenen Löffel.... :) Das die Maschine sehr laut ist, wird sich jeder denken können. Meine Bohrmaschine hat weniger Leistung und Umdrehungen, ist aber ebenfalls sehr laut. Sind halt Werkzeuge! Verstehe deshalb nicht, das einige aus diesem Grund Sterne reduzieren. Auch kann ich wirklich keinen Pfeifton hören. Montagsgerät, oder etwas in den Motorlüfter unterhalb vom Sockel gekommen? Einen Stößel habe ich übrigens bis jetzt bei meinen grünen Smoothies nicht vermisst. Hat sich alles von alleine nach unten gezogen und ist wohl der Anordnung und Ausrichtung der Messer zu schulden. Bei Bedarf könnte man aber ja einen anfertigen, oder passenden besorgen. Die Öffnung durch Entnahme des Messbechers ist jedenfalls gegeben. Letztendlich werden die grünen Smoothies sehr sämig und gut. Allerdings nutze ich auch nicht nur eine Programmzeit, sondern je nach Faserigkeit auch mal zwei der kurzen Programme. In diesen oft hervorgehobenen Umstand sehe ich persönlich allerdings keinerlei Probleme. Erst recht nicht, wenn ich dadurch so viel Geld sparen kann. Dieser WMF ist jedenfalls wirklich zu empfehlen. Es muß nicht immer ein überteuerter Power-Standmixer sein, bei dem die Gewinnspanne den Verkäufern bekannter Seiten viele "Argumente" einfallen läßt ;) Aktualisierung: Habe den Mixer nun schon einige Zeit in Betrieb. Reinigung ist unproblematisch. Direkt nach Nutzung auspülen, halb mit Wasser auffüllen und einen Tropfen Spülmittel dazu. Maschine für ein paar Sekunden starten und erneut ausspülen...fertig. Wie schon anfangs erwähnt, ist der Ausguss wirklich nicht optimal für dickflüssiges. Kleckert häufig.
